How Green Were My Barracks

Slavery was in fact the very first form of "Renewable Energy". Slavery was green! And, what is even better, slavery was sustainable - it lasted for thousands of years, until the ability to use fossil fuels gave us the liberty to feel bad about it. Whenever someone waxes eloquent about "Renewable Energy", think slavery. Because that is where wishful thinking is taking us.

That is about the truth of it. I wouldn't be surprised if this city council mandate rickshaw lackey courses in the schools, after they order the closing of all the Tim Horton's.

I can just see some scrawny kid out of highschool dragging Gord Hume around in one of them.

Straw man (noun): A straw man argument is a logical fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position. To "set up a straw man" or "set up a straw-man argument" is to create a position that is easy to refute, then attribute that position to the opponent.
