Hillary Clinton and the Five Year Plans: Minding your business so you don't have to

Aspiring dictator Hillary Clinton is moving forward on her promise "to take things away from you on behalf of the common good".

Rumors are abound she plans to nationalize the pages of Yahoo Finance:

Presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton outlined a broad economic vision Tuesday, saying it's time to replace an "on your own" society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity.

The Democratic senator said what the Bush administration touts as an ownership society really is an "on your own" society that has widened the gap between rich and poor.

"I prefer a 'we're all in it together' society," she said. "I believe our government can once again work for all Americans. It can promote the great American tradition of opportunity for all and special privileges for none."

That means pairing growth with fairness, she said, to ensure that the middle-class succeeds in the global economy, not just corporate CEOs.

"There is no greater force for economic growth than free markets. But markets work best with rules that promote our values, protect our workers and give all people a chance to succeed," she said. "Fairness doesn't just happen. It requires the right government policies."
Markets under the control of government immediately cease to be free and instead become an instrument of oppression for those seeking special privileges at the expense of others. The inevitable result is that the irresponsible get "free stuff" from the responsible because people are held accountable to an abstract horde for minding their own business, and that's not fair.

Sharing the bad news with The Broom.

Hillary, because Canada wants to be RELATIVELY free to the USA.

Mark my words: if Ron Paul doesn't win the Republican nomination (and he won't), that woman's the next president of the USA.

There go my thoughts about emigration to the USA.

Totally off topic, but the Steve Janke has a great piece on his blog about the ndp attending a terrorist supporting fundraiser last weekend. Interesting stuff. The terrorist supporting fundraiser was first reported on the terrorist supporting London Commons blog here in London.

I think it is important for the people in London to know what their local ndp trough lickers are up to.

...oops forgot the lead in

NDP organized dinner to raise funds for group with alleged ties to Hamas
The NDP organized a fund-raiser for IRFAN, a registered charity, but one that has been alleged to have strong ties to Hamas. Those allegations have been known to the highest levels of the Canadian government, and widely reported in the press. But despite that, the NDP feels that helping raise thousands of dollars for this group is a worthy exercise, and MPs Alexa McDonough and Irene Mathyssen lent their presence to make sure as much money as possible is sent from Canada to this group.- Steve Janke

My mistake the London commons was promoting another questionable fundraiser. Whack of fundraising going on for the orphans. Lots of fundraising going on for the orphans of Lebanon and Palhatejewistan. They must be wanting to fatten them up so they are strong enough to carry the explosives that will be strapped on their bodies.

Did she steal that line from Hugo Chavez?

Heh. Hold your finger up to Rodham's upper lip to see what she'd look like with a little black mustache.

Maybe that's a bit unfair. She's a bit more of a communist than a fascist, though in practice she'll probably govern somewhere to the right of Franco.

Guiliani is mighty scary too. What a choice. A cross-dressing fascist prick who'll govern from the left, against a cross-dressing communist bitch who'll govern from the right. And it wouldn't even matter that much, except that the current president has shredded the constitution and kicked the door open to the assumption of absolute power. Thus always tyrants.

shredded the constitution

Which is the most shredded section?

The terrorist act has opened the door even wider than the drug war to uncontrolled government observation and powers of detention without evidence.
