It is blocking access to my website!!!!~!

When I read the news story it sounded like an urban legend.

Upon seeing this instead of the city website, City Manager Jerry Taylor was convinced he'd been hacked!

"I have four computers located at City Hall. All of these computers display the same CentOS page when attempting to bring up Tuttle-ok.gov. Now if your software is not causing this problem, how does it happen??? No one outside this building has complained about this problem. This is a block of public access to a city's website. Remove your software within the next 12 hours or an official complaint to the FBI is being filed!"
Actually, that's about the third furious email he sent to tech support for his server's operating system -- read the very funny chain of email messages back and forth here. HT: Billy Beck

One reason I wired my NT4 Workstation(like a rocket-powered granny),is that I can use it to burn through the bullshit instead of supposing that 'dark forces' are at work.
Life is too short to throw accusations without proof.

Chris, in Ontario we no longer have April Fools' Day, since it is discriminatory only to celebrate Fools while Buffoons, Dimwits, Dupes, and Numskulls have to go without a special day of their own. (Ontario tribal politics is very complicated.)

April 1 is now referred to as Perspective Day, where we celebrate the archetype of the Trickster in various cultures.
