Regression

Under the NDP, non-profit becomes profit and profit becomes non-profit. As the irreplaceable Raskolnikov puts it, "under socialism, the seas will turn to lemonade:"

The province [of Manitoba] will spend $2.2 million to buy 14 homes and equipment from Hydra House, the agency that misspent $1.5 million in government funds on lavish meals, vacation homes and Cadillacs for its executives.
What kind of ties are there between these executives and the government if the province’s Crown attorney’s office decides to not lay charges against the executives?

I'm sorry, yes, the NDP is pure in spirit — so pure that only the things that people are not willing to voluntarily pay for are good, and that only the things that people are willing to voluntarily pay for are bad.
